About Shawnee

Shawnee is a singer/songwriter from Gloucester City, New Jersey. She has been singing ever since she was born, and knew from the day she picked up six strings that she was destined to be a musician. Shawnee has performed throughout the greater Philadelphia area and Atlantic City. In 2013, she appeared in Key West at the Songwriter's Festival. In 2014, she auditioned for American Idol, and was named as a "priority audition" for the last season in 2015. When American idol returned on ABC, she was again named as a priority audition. She has been writing her own music since age 15.  In 2016, she released her first studio album, "You Again." Shawnee has worked alongside singer/songwriter Ryan Stoll on a project named "Drawing Plans," where they recorded a full length album. Recently, she recorded her sophomore album, "Side Effects" in her home studio.
